TinyJems

TinyJems

TinyJems is a created sub-brand for Focus on the Family that targets to 3-10 years old children with developmental disorders.

At the start of this project, I was grouped with two other design classmates and three psychology students in showcasing our research and sub-brand ideas for our client, Focus on the Family. After a week break, the three of us (design students) are separated in creating our own sub-brands for the second assignment.

For this assignment, I had to create multiple deliverables, including a social media strategy, a website prototype and a booklet. This assignment was done in under four weeks with lots of iteration with high amount of stress. Nevertheless, TinyJems is one of my most proud achievements as a designer.

A created brand that provides AI robots to teenagers aged 13-19 years old as alternative companionship robotic products that help them to prepare for mental and emotional challenges in life. Along with four classmates, our assignment is to create a brand involving AI befriending robots. I chose to target teenagers in helping with their mental health due to the topic being widely discussed nowadays and using AI robots as an alternate help.

We were all on our own in creating our brand by ourselves and had to come up with all the designs, brand system, logo and brand guidelines by ourselves under six weeks along with other school assignments.

Sauveuse

Sauveuse

Sauveuse is a created Netflix film poster for my Art Direction module. A story along with Photoshop manipulation is used in this poster. Sauveuse means (feminine) warrior in French.

Story synopsis: When the country is in danger, the governor orders one man from every family to fight at sea. Rosalie's ill father is the only man in her family. Wanting to take his place, she tries to join, but being a woman, she is denied entry. Determined, she sneaks into the ship but is caught midway through the sea. Suddenly, enemy boats came towards them. Rosalie wants to fight, but the Captain stops and locks her in a room. The enemy gets the upper hand, but Rosalie defeats them all by herself. Back on the island, Rosalie is allowed to fight in future battles.

SEVENTEEN magazine

A side project I have done during my free time, this magazine features the K-pop band SEVENTEEN as a whole through a summary of their works and projects as well as a summary of all thirteen members' personalities and backgrounds. I created this magazine due to my strong support for this band as well as a way to practice Adobe Indesign.
