The Path Towards Growth

After completing my 1st Studio 3 Communication Design module assignments, we are tasked to create a Studio Knowledge Object (SKO) of what we have learnt throughout the module. This module requires us to work as a team in applying our design skills to solve current multicultural and sustainable issues in Singapore. Throughout the group work, I have met with successes and challenges in working as a team. I have learnt a lot about myself and adapting myself to work with others. 

As such, for my SKO, I decided to show my personal growth through a board game, in which people can go through the process of working as a team, meeting possible scenarios, challenges and achievements in group work. 

The process of creating my SKO is filled with lots of stress and anxiety. Due to the large number of assignments from the past month, we ended up 'getting over and done with' our assignments. With that mentality and my attitude of finishing my assignments early, it makes it very difficult to enjoy the process of creating my SKO. Though I hope that we are given more time to complete our assignments, I enjoyed creating the board game, fuelling my happiness in creating games, and I am excited for future opportunities to create games.
